Baser to the rescue! We created the Spacesaver, a balcony parasol base that keeps your parasol stable and looks great while still fitting neatly in small outdoor spaces, tucking in against a wall, rail or corner. 

Small yet stable

Got a parasol up to 2.2 metres wide? We’ve got you covered. Our Spacesaver half-parasol base is compact enough to fit tight spaces yet stable enough to hold most small parasols. Just set the half-parasol base in a corner or along a rail, position a sandbag or two across it, and pop open your canopy for cool shade in your cozy space. 

Easy to carry to the 5th or the 15th floor

Unless you’re an elite powerlifter, you probably groan at the thought of hauling 20 or 30 kg of granite, steel or cement upstairs, even with a lift.

But the Spacesaver half-parasol base itself weighs 2 kg, and you simply fill the sandbags with 20 or 25 kg of sand. And it’s much easier to carry and position a sandbag (that has a sturdy handle, no less) than a slab of rock.

As much weight as you need

Keep in mind that the higher your balcony is from the ground, the more wind your parasol will have to fight.

Traditional bases have fixed weights, but you can buy extra sandbags to pin down your Spacesaver balcony parasol if you’re on the 30th floor instead of the 3rd.
